Split PDF
Extract exactly the pages you need, or split a PDF into parts. Everything runs inside your browser: your file is never uploaded, so nothing can leak. It even works offline.

One PDF · it stays on your device
How do you want to split it?
Use commas for a list and a dash for a range. Example 1-3, 7, 10-12. Pages come out in the order you type them — you can repeat a page or reverse a range like 5-1.
Splits the PDF into parts of this many pages each — pages 1…N, then N+1…2N, and so on. The last part holds whatever is left.
Makes two PDFs: part 1 is pages 1…K, part 2 is the rest. Pick a page from 1 to one less than the last page.

How to split a PDF (without uploading it)
Most "split PDF" websites upload your file to their servers, cut it up there, and send the pieces back — then promise to delete them an hour later. This one is different: it does the whole job on your device, and it checks its own work before handing you each file.
- 1Add your PDF. Drag it onto the box or click to pick. It loads straight into your browser's memory — nothing is sent anywhere.
- 2Choose how to split. Extract specific pages like 1-3, 7, 10-12, split every N pages into equal chunks, or split at one page to get two parts.
- 3Split, verify & download. Your browser builds each part, re-opens it to confirm the page count is exactly right, then gives you a download button for every part.
Why this is safer. Since the tool never uploads your file, there is no copy of it on any server to be hacked, cached, indexed, or leaked. And because it verifies every part before download, you never get a silently corrupted PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Your file is read into your device's memory and split locally — it's never sent to any server, so there's no way for it to leak. It even works offline once the page has loaded.
What ways can I split a PDF?
Three ways. Extract pages pulls out specific pages and ranges like 1-3, 7, 10-12 into one new PDF. Split every N pages breaks the file into equal chunks. Split at a page cuts the PDF into two parts at the page you choose.
Can I extract pages in a custom order?
Yes. In Extract pages mode, the pages come out in the exact order you list them, and you can repeat a page or reverse a range like 5-1 if you want.
Will splitting damage or corrupt my PDF?
No. After building each part, the tool re-opens it and verifies the page count is exactly what you asked for, before letting you download. If a check fails, it stops and tells you instead of giving you a broken file.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free, no sign-up, no watermark, no account limits. It's part of AttendFlow's free student tools.
