About AttendFlow

Last Updated: February 2025

AttendFlow is a digital attendance and academic management platform built for students, teachers, and educational institutions. This page explains our purpose, how we operate, and who we serve.

Our Purpose

Attendance tracking in education is often fragmented. Students rely on paper registers, spreadsheets, or institutional portals that may be outdated or hard to access. We built AttendFlow to give individuals a simple, reliable way to track their own attendance and academic data.

Our goal is not to replace institutional systems but to complement them. Many students attend colleges or schools that do not offer a student-facing attendance dashboard. AttendFlow fills that gap by providing a personal record that students control. They can see their percentage, set alerts, and export reports when needed.

Mission and Vision

Our mission is to make attendance and academic tracking transparent and accessible. We believe that when students have clear visibility into their own data, they make better decisions. Early awareness of attendance issues leads to timely action—before it affects exam eligibility or academic standing.

Our vision is a world where every student, regardless of institution size or resources, can access tools that help them stay on top of their academic life. We focus on mobile-first design because students use phones daily. The app should work offline where possible and sync when connected, so data is never lost.

Who Built AttendFlow and Why

AttendFlow was created by a small team of developers and educators who experienced the same problems we aim to solve. We saw students struggling with manual attendance registers, last-minute realizations about low attendance, and difficulty sharing data with parents or counselors.

We built the app to address these pain points. The initial version focused on attendance and timetable. Over time, we added exams, marks, notes, calendar, and export features based on user feedback. We continue to iterate based on what students and teachers tell us they need.

We operate independently. AttendFlow is not backed by venture capital or tied to a larger education conglomerate. This allows us to prioritize user needs over growth metrics. We offer a free tier so anyone can try the app without commitment, and a premium tier for users who want unlimited features and ad-free experience.

Target Users and Institutions

Our primary users are students in colleges, schools, and coaching centers. They use AttendFlow to track attendance across subjects, manage their timetable, record exam dates and marks, and keep notes. The app is designed for individual use—each user maintains their own data.

Teachers and instructors who run small batches or tutorials can also use AttendFlow to maintain attendance records for their groups. We do not currently offer institution-wide deployment or admin dashboards. Our focus remains on the individual user experience.

Institutions that lack a formal attendance management system may find AttendFlow useful for coordinating data when teachers and students use it voluntarily. Exported reports can support compliance checks and parent communication.

Trust and Transparency

We take data privacy seriously. User data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We do not sell personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Users can delete their account and data at any time through our website.

We are transparent about our business model. The app is free to download with limited features. A premium subscription unlocks unlimited subjects, full history, export, cloud sync, and an ad-free experience. Subscription revenue helps us maintain and improve the app.
