Terms of Service

By accessing or using AttendFlow ("the App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the App.

AttendFlow is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering comprising a mobile application and related web services. The service helps users track attendance, manage class schedules, organize academic data, and monitor academic progress. It is offered as a free, ad-supported plan plus an optional paid subscription (AttendFlow Pro) that unlocks additional capacity and features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the App
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

4.1 Free plan

The free plan is supported by advertising (Google AdMob in the app, Google AdSense on this website) and includes generous per-semester limits. Core features — unlimited subjects, attendance history, cloud sync and sharing — are available to all users.

4.2 AttendFlow Pro

AttendFlow Pro is an optional subscription priced at ₹99/month or ₹799/year. Pro removes ads and raises or removes limits, and adds report export, attendance prediction, achievements and leaderboard, holidays, and up to 3 workspaces.

4.3 Billing & renewal

• Pro subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play; we do not process payments directly.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled, and can be cancelled anytime from Google Play → Subscriptions.
• You keep Pro until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Google Play (see our Refund Policy).
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. We may change Pro pricing; changes apply only to future billing periods, and where the law or Google Play requires, we will notify you in advance so you can cancel before the change takes effect.

You may use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or connected servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Use the App to transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data

5.2 Fair Use

Excessive use that degrades service quality for other users or circumvents plan limits may result in throttling, suspension, or termination.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all data and content you input. You warrant that you have the right to input such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

6.1 Our Rights

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by AttendFlow and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of all data and content you input. By using the App you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the App's services.

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee the App will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8.2 Data Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information in the service. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your data and maintaining your own backups.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATTENDFLOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8.4 No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8.5 Cap on Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for AttendFlow Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.

8.6 Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights (for example, under the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or equivalent EEA/UK consumer law). The disclaimers and limitations above apply only to the extent the law that applies to you permits.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AttendFlow and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account through app settings.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or use the App in a manner harmful to us or other users.

10.3 Effect

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. We may delete your account and data, though we may retain certain information as required by law.

If we terminate a paid subscription without cause (i.e. not because of your breach), you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of your current billing period, processed via Google Play. Termination for cause (breach, fraud, or unlawful use) does not entitle you to a refund.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you by posting the updated Terms, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending an in-app notification for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction whose law lets you bring proceedings in your home courts, nothing here deprives you of that right or of the mandatory consumer-law protections of your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AttendFlow regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
