How to merge PDFs (without uploading them)
Most "merge PDF" websites upload your files to their servers, combine them there, and send them back — then promise to delete them an hour later. This one is different: it does the whole job on your device, and it checks its own work before handing you the file.
- 1Add your PDFs. Drag them onto the box or click to pick. They load straight into your browser's memory — nothing is sent anywhere.
- 2Put them in order. Drag the files up or down, or remove any you added by mistake. They combine top to bottom.
- 3Merge, verify & download. Your browser builds the combined PDF, re-opens it to confirm every page made it in, then downloads it.
Why this is safer. Since the tool never uploads your file, there is no copy of it on any server to be hacked, cached, indexed, or leaked. And because it verifies the merged file before download, you never get a silently corrupted PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are read into your device's memory and combined locally — they're never sent to any server, so there's no way for them to leak. It even works offline once the page has loaded.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There's no fixed limit. Because everything runs on your own device, the practical limit is your device's memory. Merging a few dozen normal PDFs works fine on a typical phone or laptop.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes. After adding your PDFs, drag them up or down to set the order, or use the ▲▼ buttons. They're merged in the order shown, from top to bottom.
Will merging damage or corrupt my PDF?
No. After building the combined file, the tool re-opens it and verifies that every page from every input made it in, before letting you download. If verification fails, it stops and tells you instead of giving you a broken file.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free, no sign-up, no watermark, no account limits. It's part of AttendFlow's free student tools.
