One PDF · it stays on your device
ℹ️ This adds a visual signature image to the page — like signing a printout. It is not a cryptographic / legally-certified digital signature.

PNG or JPG · a near-white background is removed automatically · stays on your device

How to sign a PDF (without uploading it)
Most "sign PDF" websites upload your file to their servers, stamp it there, and send it back — then promise to delete it an hour later. This one is different: it does the whole job on your device, and it checks its own work before handing you the file.
- 1Add your PDF. Drag it onto the box or click to pick. It loads straight into your browser's memory — nothing is sent anywhere.
- 2Create your signature. Draw it with your mouse or finger, or type your name in a signature style.
- 3Place, apply & download. Drag it onto the page, size it, apply — your browser stamps the PDF, verifies it, and downloads it.
Why this is safer. Since the tool never uploads your file, there is no copy of it — or your signature — on any server to be hacked, cached, indexed, or leaked. And because it verifies the result before download, you never get a silently corrupted PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Your file and signature are handled in your device's memory and stamped locally — nothing is ever sent to any server. It even works offline once the page has loaded.
Is this a legally-certified digital signature?
No. This adds a visual signature image to the page — the same as signing a printout. It is not a cryptographic or certificate-based digital signature.
Can I draw with my finger on a phone?
Yes. The drawing pad works with touch, so you can sign with your finger on a phone or tablet, or with a mouse or trackpad on a computer.
Will signing damage or corrupt my PDF?
No. After stamping, the tool re-opens the file and verifies it's intact and the page count is unchanged, before letting you download. If a check fails, it stops instead of giving you a broken file.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free, no sign-up, no watermark, no account limits. It's part of AttendFlow's free student tools.
